EASTTOWN TOWNSHIP (www.easttown.org)
Founded in 1704, Easttown offers a 50,000 volume collection library, senior citizen programs, a summer recreational camp and a July 4th fireworks celebration. Founded in 1765, the township includes several corporate centers and a vast variety of shopping centers, playgrounds, golf and tennis facilities. Population of 9,300 on 12 square miles. (610) 648-0600

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP (www.haverfordtownship.com)
Since 1912, Haverford Township has provided the community with many municipal and recreational facilities, including 30 municipal parks and an ice skating rink. Over 140 community programs are offered to the residents of Haverford. Population of 49,848 on 9.95 square miles. (610) 446-9403

Founded in 1682, the township’s name is derived from the Welsh town of Merionethshire. Lower Merion has an involved community, boasting 18 business and civic associations. Population of 59,850 on 23.64 square miles. (610) 649-4000

MALVERN BOROUGH (www.malvern.org)
Founded in 1889, Malvern Borough is mostly residential and offers its residents a park, playgrounds and tennis courts. Malvern is a unique, small town village located approximately 25 miles west of Philadelphia. Population of 3,200 on 1.3 square miles. (610) 644-2602

MARPLE TOWNSHIP (www.marpletwp.com)
The first landholders arrived in 1683 to settle Marple, located about 10 miles west of Philadelphia. Marple is primarily residential but has two conveniently located, major shopping areas. Population of 23,000 on 10.5 square miles. (610) 365-4040

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP (www.newtowntownship.org)
Many historical homes and farms enrich this township, incorporated in 1684 and founded by Welsh Quakers, and located approximately 15 miles west of Philadelphia. Population of 15,000 on 10.2 square miles. (610) 356-0200

RADNOR TOWNSHIP (www.radnor.com)
Founded in 1682, Radnor is named after Radnorshire, a county in Wales from which most of the area’s earliest settlers originated. The central location of this township is Wayne, a charming town which offers residents a full range of shopping options in its popular business district. TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP (www.tredyffrin.org)
Welsh settlers in 1707 gave the township its name, which means “township in the valley.” Tredyffrin offers many outdoor athletic facilities and 16 parks, including the 700-acre Valley Forge National Historic Park.
